good ... enough?
detaching from perfection, productivity, and the need to be “there” already.
today’s going to be short and sweet - for two reasons:
my ass hurts from sitting
I’m sick of overthinking, and having so many ideas on what to write about but not making time … so it’s coming out raw & wild style! DONE is better than perfect in this case.
which leads me to the whole point of what I want to say to you today:
it’s good enough. you’re good enough.
you did the work, you put in the effort, now it’s time to detach.
I feel like so many of us obsess over not being “there” yet, or not having xyz yet, or not feeling a certain way, yet …
but the truth is, we just have to know and decide that we’re enough.
exactly as is.
marketing yourself and your business from your home, in your sweatpants, with your tea turning cold, enough.
there’s always tomorrow, yet tomorrow is not promised —-
so that’s the line we’re riding. doing our best, then putting it away, and not making it mean anything about us.
our value doesn’t lie in who pays us, who likes us, the work we do or don’t put out.
our value lies in US. the fact that God created us uniquely and wonderfully and we still have a beating heart in our chest.
knowing this is key, and then being able to detach, to let go - of the work, of the problems, of the stories that replay in our minds …
and move on with our lives and be damn grateful for every breath, even the hard ones -
because as we know they don’t last forever on this earth.
so that’s my message to you, today.
you’re good enough. you’re doing enough. be thankful for that fact. and now go enjoy your real life.

I think the idea of “enough” is so interesting. Enough of what? And then there’s also “not too much.” In reality, all of our traits in their unique amounts make up who we are exactly as we should be. Our worth is inherent and unchangeable.
I am enough. You are enough. We are enough.🩷
